Why Sherises Foundation Was Created – A Mission To Empower Women

At SheRises Foundation, we believe in the power of women—their strength, resilience, and ability to transform societies. But we also recognize the barriers they face in sports, business, and social life. That’s why SheRises was founded: to create opportunities, break stereotypes, and support women in achieving their full potential.

Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: women deserve equal opportunities. Whether it’s in entrepreneurship, leadership, or sports, too many women encounter obstacles that hold them back—from gender bias to lack of access to resources. SheRises was created to change that reality by providing mentorship, education, and support networks to help women thrive.

SheRises is dedicated to:

  • Women in Business – providing mentorship, networking, and entrepreneurship programs to help women succeed in their careers.
  • Women in Sports – encouraging participation in sports and wellness activities to promote health and confidence.
  • Women in Active Life – organizing initiatives that empower women in all aspects of society.

By fostering education, professional development, and self-confidence, we aim to create a world where women are not just participants but leaders.

Why Now?

Women still face gender pay gaps, limited leadership opportunities, and societal expectations that restrict their ambitions. Studies show that:

  • Women make up less than 30% of leadership roles worldwide.
  • In the EU, the gender pay gap is around 13%, meaning women earn significantly less than men for the same work.
  • Women are underrepresented in STEM careers, despite growing demand for digital skills.

SheRises exists to challenge these statistics and provide real, impactful solutions. Through education, advocacy, and community-building, we are creating a future where women rise—together.
